Almost no one knows about William and Kate’s third home

When William and Kate grew fed up with the hustle and bustle of London, they fled to Anmer Hall, their country home. However, Norfolk Home isn’t Cambridge’s only retreat. In Scotland, there is an unmarked cottage for a family of five.

Balmoral – Grand palaces, stately castles and estates as far as the eye can see: it would take some time to list the wealth of the British Royal Family. The royals around Prince William (40) and Kate Middleton (40) lead a luxurious lifestyle that many can only dream of.

Rural idyll: William and Kate’s cottage goes by the sonorous name of Tam-na-ghar

The future heir to the throne doesn’t have to deal with rising real estate prices. The parent of three can call many places home. William and Kate, who are due to move to Windsor, are currently at Kensington Palace in London, where they live with their children George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4, in cozy Apartment 1A.

The family also spends a lot of time at Anmer Hall, their country house in Sandringham, but rarely visits their third home. The name Tam-na-ghar – that’s the name of William and Kate’s cottage – is the first time many Royal fans have heard it. Queen Elizabeth II (96) has a “secret” retreat on her Scottish country estate, Balmoral Castle.

Prince William has owned the Tama-na-ghar, of which almost no photographs have been taken, since 2002. According to Hello! Magazine, the cottage was a gift from his great-grandmother, the Queen Mum (101, † 2002) William and Kate are said to have fled to the charming three-bedroom cottage early in their relationship, and the family of five is said to have spent their summer holiday there in 2019.
