BJP MPs wanted a separate state called Junglemahal after the breakup of West Bengal

BJP MP Soumitra Khan has demanded the creation of a new state called Junglemahal by breaking West Bengal in India. Regarding this, the Bishnupur MP also gave various arguments to the media. But BJP is also uncomfortable with what he said. Recently, BJP MP from Alipurduar John Barla had demanded a separate North Bengal state. Saumitra gave rise to a new question in the midst of the debate. Anandbazar gave this news on Monday (June 21).

According to the report, Hayam Soumitra said, ‘The Chief Minister called other leaders of the state foreigners. The Prime Minister, the Home Minister and even the Central Army personnel were called outsiders. After that when would you call the residents of Junglemahal as outsiders? They created a separate state to give us that facility.

Saumitra has mentioned the history as well as the claim of this Jangalmahal kingdom. He said, ‘Jungalmahal was a separate district during the British rule. The district was formed in 1805, comprising parts of what is now Burdwan, Birbhum, Bankura, Medinipur and Hooghly. It was again demolished in 1833 to form Burdwan and Manbhum districts. After all, the people of Junglemahal have been deprived of the present government forever. Now Mamta Banerjee’s cabinet is with the MLAs of the area adjacent to Kolkata. They run the entire state. Hence the need for a separate jungle state.
