Back in the old days – you know, four or five years ago – you knew that Black friday Arrived when you started watching Black Friday ad leaks. PFF of advertisements of big retailers giving details of these Black Friday deals. Or JPG. Were scanned. Built for the Sunday newspaper ahead of Thanksgiving weekend, this season’s biggest “Doorbuster” sale suggests everything from TV 99 TVs to $ 199 gaming console bundles.
Cut to 2020, and the landscape looks a little different. Retailers now “leak” circulars on their own schedules and on their own websites to help beat the hype drums for their holiday sales. And we want you to get the best deal of the season, we’re collecting PDFs and links to as many sales as possible here. We include links to related stores online stores, as well as CNET stories where we have published our favorite deals.
Walmart
Walmart is now running a three-part sales series between now and Thanksgiving.
- On November 4, Event1 started online at Walmart.com.
- More deals became available in November. Wal. Walmart also sells its annual tire at event stores and Novline Nov. Will be held from 7 to 13.
- Event 2 will begin online on November 11. 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT) TVLmart said it offers deals on electronics such as TVs, computers and tablets. Additional deals will be available online on November 14 at 12 noon ET and stores online at 5 pm local time.
- Event 3 Nov Online will start on November 25 at 7pm ET, Additional deals will be offered on November 27 (actual Black Friday) at 12 noon and in the store at 5 o’clock local time.

Gamestep has announced its full Black Friday deal slate. A lot of deals focus on in-store Doorbuster, and it’s unclear how the gaming retailer will integrate online sales into its plans. That said, the switch deal – console with Mario Cart and a three-month Nintendo membership has been put in place for no additional charge for online membership – also seems to be available at other retailers.
