Scottish club Celtic on Friday signed Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi to a four-year contract as the Glasgow squad reshaped under new manager Ange Postekoglu. The 26-year-old Furuhashi, who joined Wissel Kobe under sanction, was the Japanese league’s leading scorer this season with 14 goals in 20 matches.
Postecoglou published Yokohama F. He trained against Furuhashi while in charge at Marinos.

Celtic finished well behind Rangers last season, missing out on a chance to secure a 10th consecutive Scottish Premiership title.
Furuhashi has scored three goals in six matches for Japan since making his international debut in November 2019.
Furuhashi is the latest to arrive at Celtic Park under Postekoglu. Earlier this week, the team signed a long-term contract with Israeli midfielder Lyel Abada.
