DElhaize, in consultation with Afsca, has published a warning regarding many of its prepared meals. A dozen articles would mention the wrong expiration date.
On affected products, an incorrect expiration date is indicated 31/09/2022. Only, the correct date is 08/31/2022. Delhaize calls on its customers to “be especially attentive”.
About thirty products are concerned, especially prepared food. full list is Available on the Afsca website.
In the meantime, Delhaize has taken these items off the shelves and has conducted strict checks on the product and the supplier. Customers who have purchased these products are asked not to consume them after 08/31/2022.
Other products in the same category are not affected and can therefore be consumed with complete safety.
