On the fourth day of World Cup qualifying, Denmark hosted Scotland, starting with Arsenal’s Tierney and Liverpool’s Robertson. Manchester United’s McTominay, who impressed during the European Championship, was absent from groin surgery. For the hosts, coach Kaspar Hjulmund turned a little closer than the European Championship – in which the Dane made it to the semi-finals. Former Dortmunder Delaney debuted in midfield, with Leipziger Poulsen making a stormy start from the start.

Schmeichel argued vigorously
Schmeichel had to save at the start of the final ten minutes: Leicester City’s number one dived after a well-placed shot by Fraser and swung the ball around the post (81′). Two harmless Danes tried one last time in the first half as well: however, Larsson ran freely under Hojberg’s cross, then the former Munich player himself led the ball to Gordon (87′).
The opening double strike was enough for Danish Dynamite till the end. Hjulmund’s eleven continue to lead Group F (12 points) and remove themselves from second place (Israel, seven points).
