Thanks to these three new points scored in Scotland (0-2), Jackie Mathijsen’s players have taken another important step. On the road that should lead them to Romania and Georgia, which are already guaranteed to finish, at worst, second in their group. Which is synonymous with best runner-up for other nations or direct qualification for the play-offs. The Imps, who are aiming for first place, will have to complete the task in 2022 (in Denmark on March 29 and against Scotland on June 5).
In Dundee, the Belgian Hops didn’t really tremble, being sure of his strength and his game.
