“Exorcist-style pain and vomiting”: 28-year-old Lindsey is allergic to gravity…!

Some allergies are more restrictive than others… Lindsey is a 28-year-old Briton. The young woman began experiencing violent and disturbing symptoms in 2015: She was inadvertently starting an allergy… to gravity!
Abdominal pain, back pain, vomiting, fainting several times a day: this is what Lindsey endures because of her illness. Only our colleagues in Metro tell its story. “I was moaning in pain and vomiting was like an exorcist”She tells them. “I was fainting everywhere. I was finishing my shopping at the supermarket and had to sit because I felt bad. I passed out even after my dog ​​barked.”

The disease was diagnosed only after consulting several doctors. This allergy to gravity forces him to stay at home permanently and to sit or lie down as much as possible, especially thanks to a shower chair. ,I cannot stand for more than three minutes without fainting or becoming ill. I feel great if I lie down. I’m in bed all day, up to 23 hours a day”she explains.

Lindsey helps her husband a lot and is unable to do his daily activities for almost nothing. No cooking, no cleaning… and if partial treatment cures his allergy, “there is no way”. ILindsey’s life is driven by her restlessness. “I really had to adapt to this new life and accept it (…) I feel dizzy and pass out as soon as I wake up.”

Luckily for her, the young woman is not short of humor and has launched a TikTok account where she shares her everyday life.
