Gerber’s new baby Magnolia is the first spokesperson adopted in the company’s history

Magnolia has been selected as Gerber's Spokesbaby for 2020.

Meet the adorable Magnolia. It is the first spokesperson adopted in the history of the company.

Magnolia, who hails from Ross, California, has won the hearts of the judges with her “joyful expression, playful smile and warm, engaging look,” Gerber said in a Press release.

It was chosen from over 327,000 entries and will be present on the company’s social media channels and in its advertising campaigns throughout the year.

“At a time when we crave connection and unity, Magnolia and her family remind us of the many things that unite us: our desire to love and be loved, our need to find belonging and our recognition that the family it goes far beyond biology, “said Bill Partyka, Gerber president and CEO.

Courtney Earl, Magnolia’s mother, said in a statement that her family received a call from an adoption agency last year about a pregnant woman waiting for work who wanted to talk to them.

“We got off the highway, had the chance to get in touch with her fantastic birth parents and, a few hours later, this sweet baby girl was born,” said Earl. “Adoption is incredibly special for our family history. Winning Photo Search is an opportunity to tell the story of Magnolia and shed light on all the beautiful and different ways in which families are made.”

Magnolia has two other sisters, Whitney, 12, and Charlotte, 8, both of whom are also adopted.

When Magnolia isn’t busy posing for Gerber, she and her sisters love to wallow in the paddling pool and dance to the Baby Shark song, according to the press release.
