A Christmas tree caught on fire was placed in front of the Fox News editorial office in Manhattan, and the New York Post and Wall Street Journal are located in the same building.

Police said the suspect involved in the arson was first noticed by Fox security shortly after midnight when he climbed an artificial tree 15 meters high.

Firefighters also intervened and fortunately no one was injured in the incident.

A 49-year-old man who set a Christmas tree on fire tried to flee the scene, but was later arrested and charged with multiple crimes. A lighter was found with the suspect.
