Lamborghini cars – Aventador, Huracan and Urus – roamed the Scottish Cairngorms in early 2021 in search of the right driving routes.
Many colorful Lamborghini models travel over 200 miles on Scottish roads, starting in the city of Edinburgh and passing through the still-closed ski resort and highest village in the Scottish Highlands, Tommintoul.
The dramatic visuals are in contrast to the cars’ brilliant color: an Aventador SVJ Roadster (Arancio Fox Orange) with an Aventador S (Blue Daedalo Blue); The full Huracan EVO lineup, including a four-wheel-drive coupe (Verde Shock Green, Arancio Dac Orange) and a Huracan EVO Spyder (Bianco Asopo White) with Huracan RWD and Spider coupes (Bianco Canopus White and Giallo Tenerife Yellow). A Huracan STO (Gray Grigio Titans) also took over the long stretches and curves of the Scottish Highlands roads, empty valleys celebrating Lamborghini’s naturally aspirated engines.
The design and colors of the cars turned heads just as they sound, the tour included Cairngorms’ own art installations created for Snow Roads travelers: ‘Still’ by Lech ski resort, ‘The Watchers’, just outside Tomintoul. ’, and finally “Contours” at Glenshee Cairnwell Pass.
During a night at The Fife Arms Hotel in Bremer, Lamborghini drivers with their original works of art and antiques, numbering more than 15,000, were carried by Urus, such as the orange Arancio Borealis, the yellow Giallo Inti and the yellow Giallo Inti. The brightest star in the constellation of Taurus, Cor Tauri, is a nickname adopted by Lamborghini to describe its program of vehicle electrification and ongoing stability.
