On Orkney Island, Scotland, volunteers rescued an orca that was washed up on a beach.
At first they thought it was a dolphin. It was actually an orca 3.4 meters long. Residents of Orkney, Scotland, told an Anglo-Saxon media on Tuesday that rescuers became vigilant after a killer whale washed up on a beach on the island.
A team of rescuers succeeded in keeping the animal out of the water for an hour when the tide was rising. Dan Jarvis, 35, of the British Divers Charity, said “first aid actions, such as lifting the animal upright and regularly pouring water in sync with her breathing.” Marine Life Rescue (BDMLR).

Once the water had reached the knee, volunteers were able to place the killer whale in a stretcher before being taken to sea. This animal was able to return to the high seas. “We don’t have a lot of killer whales on the shores of Britain and this type of bursting is extremely rare,” Jarvis continued. “On this remote island there was a chance to train BDMLR doctors, who were able to provide proper support to the animal.” Without these precious gestures, Orca leaves no doubt that he has died.
