Sanctions against Russia – Washington responded to the Kremlin’s “mirror” sanctions with a short phrase – UNIAN

Washington has announced the expulsion of US Ambassador to Moscow John Sullivan in response to US sanctions.

Reacting to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s announcement of the ambassador’s expulsion “for consultation”, Washington limited itself to a short phrase: “Russia’s response was encouraging and disappointing.”

Sanctions against Russia and the Kremlin’s reaction

• 32 individuals and legal entities were banned for interfering in elections and disruptive activities and six technology companies for supporting Russian intelligence services. Ten Russian diplomats will be expelled from the United States.
