Jeddah: Saudi Arabian Airlines has announced a package of a week-long institutional quarantine program for foreigners arriving in Saudi Arabia without a covid vaccine from the 20th of this month. Saudi Arabian Airlines has published quarantine packages for various hotels in Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina and Dammam.

Riyadh has rates of 2,920 with three-star hotel facilities, 4,965 for four-star, 6,880 for five-star (Hilton Hotel) and 7,744 for five-star (Lemeridian Hotel). In Jeddah, the rates are 2,425 for a three-star hotel, 3,010 for a four-star, 4,375 for a five-star (Casablanca Grand Hotel), 8,608 for a five-star (Jeddah Hilton hotel), and 3,100 for a three-star hotel. Star Hotel in Dammam and 3,424 for four star. Medina has 2,443 rates for a three-star hotel, 2,460 for a four-star and 3,352 for a five-star.

The package includes two covid probes per person, three meals, a trip from the airport to the hotel and a room for six nights. Rates up to June 30 have now been announced. Quarantine packages can be booked from travel agencies or Saudi websites with Saudi flight tickets. Once booked it cannot be canceled later.

Passengers will have to pay a deposit upon reaching the hotel. It will be returned later. Children up to the age of six do not have to pay extra for food or accommodation. But children up to 12 years will have to be charged separately. Saudi officials said a separate fee would be charged for the double room and no more than two children would be allowed in the double room.

Other airlines going to Saudi Arabia may also announce their quarantine packages in the coming days. But if regular hotels or furnished apartments, which are available at lower rates, are not included in the airline’s quarantine package, then a one-week quarantine fee can be costly for migrants in Saudi Arabia who do not get vaccinated in Saudi Arabia. .
