According to researchers at the National Health Service, Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, may impose a “two-week mini-regulation” on Friday from 6pm.

Scotland is now on the verge of a two-week lockdown aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
Nicola Sturgeon said: “It is possible for us to go even further by strengthening measures to stop the spread of the virus. “
This morning, the Prime Minister decided to have a meeting with his advisors to take stock of the development of the virus and whether new restrictions are necessary. She will probably submit her decision to Parliament later in the evening.
According to the latest figures, 697 people are positive for coronovirus in Scotland in the last 24 hours, raising the toll to a total of 32,906 cases. Currently 218 people are hospitalized but no deaths have been recorded in recent times.
