This duel comes at just the right time to allow Hibbs to win a new trophy. The match was Celtic’s 36th Premier Sports Cup final with 19 wins. Meanwhile, Hibernian FC scored three final victories in 11 matches. This will also be the fourth meeting between these two clubs in the final of the Premier Sports Cup. As a record, Celtic won in 1969 and 1974 and Hibernian won in 1972.
