The Light Blues are looking to sign former Chelsea captain Gary Cahill for free. But the Scottish club has challengers on file such as Bournemouth, who have already made an offer to the player.

Rangers plan to sign former England captain Gary Cahill. Following the expiration of his contract with Crystal Palace, the latter is now an independent player and could soon return to Scotland. The only downside is that there is no shortage of calls from some of the clubs in England. SunSport informs that Bournemouth boss Scott Parker is ready to do whatever it takes to get the experienced stopper. But Norwich City are also interested and intend to bring in Gary Cahill to remain in the English Premier League.

It should be noted that the central defender is yet to make his choice. Steven Gerrard and the Rangers can still dream of having him in Eyebrox for days to come.
