Scotland: St Johnstone continues to investigate transfer window

Callum Davidson

Saints manager Callum Davidson is looking for reinforcements to make his team more competitive. In an interview with a specialist outlet in Scotland, Davidson said he wants to increase his workforce.

Callum Davidson has revealed that he still hopes to attract players to sign for Yellow this summer. The Saints are looking to build on their historic double win last season (Scottish Cup and Premier Sports Cup) to recruit more talent. St Johnstone are currently preparing to play against the Europa League third preliminary round next Thursday Galatasaray (Turkey). The Premiership campaign will also start in Scotland later this week.

“I’ve always wanted to add something. We had a little interest in our players, but nothing really serious. We’re still looking and it’s a tough time. Maybe all the managers say the same thing. I still I’ll be watching and make sure to add something. If we get serious injuries, I’ll have to make sure there’s money available to bring someone in. Callum Davidson said.

“It is a busy time because you have to push back the interest in your players while also looking at the other players. But our work ethic with Scottish players is at such a level that we cannot stoop down. It’s something I’m comfortable with because it allows me to get what I want from them. I don’t have a big team, I can’t take much risk. Everyone who enters must go to work. St Johnstone Manager added.
