Shad Gaspard’s body found out, three days after his disappearance

Body of former WWE star found on California beach

A passerby spotted a dead body on the Venice beach and notified the police.

“The deceased has been identified as Shad Gaspard,” said the police. Her family members have been warned.

Gaspard, 39, disappeared Sunday after swimming in the newly reopened Marina Del Rey with his 10-year-old son, police said.
Last week Los Angeles County reopened its beaches for physical activities, including walking, running and swimming. The beach had been closed to combat the spread of the new coronavirus.

“The last time he was seen by the lifeguard, a wave crashed on Mr. Shad Gaspard and was blown away into the sea,” said the department.

The boy has been saved.

The United States coast guard, Los Angeles County lifeguards and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department have all sought out the swimmer, said Trina Schrader, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department. The search was suspended on Tuesday afternoon.

Gaspard is known to be a member of the Cryme Tyme wrestling team with fellow WWE star JTG, which debuted in 2006.

After leaving WWE in 2010, he began his acting career and appeared in the films “Think Like a Man Too” and “The Last Sharknado: It’s About Time..

CNN asked for comments from representatives of the Gaspard family.
