Two Palestinians, Atta and Khamis al-Serafi (60), are now weeks away from realizing their 20-year-old dream of opening their “plain restaurant” project near the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The Serafi twins are continuing the maintenance and rehabilitation work of the Boeing 707 aircraft to become a restaurant, with the project intended to open to the public within a month.

The two Palestinians named their project “Palestinian-Jordanian Airline Restaurant and Coffee Shop Al-Serafi-Nablus”.

“Initially, the plane will be a cafe and a hall for organizing wedding parties and events, and then it will turn into a restaurant,” Khamis al-Serafi told Anadolu Agency.

The project owners kept the aircraft relatively tilted so that visitors could see that it was in the process of taking off, and they kept windows in addition to holding the aircraft’s galley.

Palestinians look forward to the success of their project, and al-Serafi said: “Many Palestinians have never boarded a plane in their lives. They will come here, although it will not fly with them, but it will fly in their imagination.” will fill.”

With the beginning of the rehabilitation of the aircraft, the restaurant is visited daily by many Palestinians who take souvenir photos. The aircraft is scheduled to accommodate about 130 people, explaining that those who will provide services to visitors are “flight attendants.”

Both brothers plan to open self-service restaurants and allot entertainment venues for children in the vicinity of the plane, and the twins hope to open the project within a month.
