The French government will introduce in the bill that would control this phase of the pandemic, a 10-day isolation obligation for positive cases, which includes health passes from August in restaurants and cinemas.

Also mandatory vaccinations for certain professional categories such as doctors, nurses will remain in the diploma, as well as for all others who work in hospitals, nursing homes or clinics, such as administrative staff.

The project also envisions the possibility of closing all establishments that do not respect the use of a health pass, which proves a full vaccination or a negative test.

At the same time, there were demonstrations in several French cities against the introduction of the pass, noting that the measure was “a dictatorship”.

The number of cases in France has risen again in recent days, with 8,875 new cases confirmed since Tuesday. The average of cases rose to over 5,000, while it was below 2,000 in recent weeks. In the last 24 hours, six people have died due to this virus in France.

There are currently 7,047 people admitted to French hospitals due to Kovid-19 and 931 of these patients are admitted to intensive care units.

According to the most recent balance sheet by Agence France-Presse, the Covid-19 pandemic has caused at least 4,053,041 deaths worldwide, with more than 187.7 million cases of infection by the new coronavirus.
