Washington: Former US President and real estate tycoon Donald Trump has lost his place in the Forbes richest list (Forbes-400). It is a well-known fact that Forbes lists the richest people every year. However, for the first time in 25 years, he did not make it to the list. According to Forbes, Trump’s net worth has declined by $600 million this year. He is currently only worth $250 million. About $400 million in assets are needed to make the list. Last year, Trump was at number 339 on the Forcebook list.
After winning the US presidential election in 2016, federal ethics officials pressured Trump to decentralize real estate assets. But, Trump tended to stick to them. Had he not done so, he would have got an opportunity to invest in a variety of income funds. If he did not do this, Trump would have assets worth $ 3.5 billion. Forbes believes Trump is entirely to blame for his wealth meltdown. Meanwhile, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos tops the Forbes list, followed by Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk.
