The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) warned of a tsunami on Saturday after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake registered in the north-east coast of the country.
The quake struck at 6:09 pm local time (09:09 GMT) in Pacific waters, in the Miyagi region, at a depth of 60 kilometers. JMA, Which, with waves of one meter, warned of the danger of a tsunami.
