Win Resorts Inn Las Vegas More than 500 were reported on Thursday Corona virus Cases among its employees after its reopening in June.
The company has so far conducted 15,051 COVD-19 tests on employees with the help of University Medical Center, according to a news release. Employees need to be negatively tested before returning to work.
“Our goal is to make Win Las Vegas a safe place for our guests and employees to go outside their home, through the implementation of our surveillance testing program and the establishment of strong efforts for in-house contact,” said Matt Maddox, CEO of Win Resorts.
As part of its outreach efforts, groups of 700 employees are tested every two weeks. A total of 8 positive8 positive cases have been reported, resulting in a 3.6% positivity rate, the company said.

Of the positive tests, 51 occurred before the resort reopened.
The company has seen a significant drop in virus positivity rates since launching its multilateral pre-employment and surveillance testing programs, Win said in a statement.
In a recent round of testing, only one in 285 employees tested positive. The company said 98.% of employees who tested positive contracted the virus outside of work. Vinn said 10 employees are dedicated full time to contact tracing for positive employee cases.

Since reopening in June, the resort on The Strip has hosted more than 500,000 guests, six of whom have tested positive for COVID-19, the company said.
