In an interaction with the local media, the young fisherman said that he likes to do it for fun and is considered very respectful with the environment.. The day he found the bottle he was fishing with his cousin in the shallow waters of So Jorge Island, near a small town known as Faja Joo Dias.

“I picked it up and looked inside, there was a piece of paper there,” Said Santos, who took it to the side so as not to ruin the paper. “I thought it was interesting and went to show it to my mom.”

“What is the probability that someone from Portugal, who can actually read English, will find it and understand what it says?”said the young man.

Molly Santos said on Facebook that she tried to send an email to the address listed in the note, but there was no response.
