Coronavirus Live Updates: FDA Allows First Test That Delivers Fast Results at Home

Los Angeles County, the most populous city in the United States, will implement several new sanctions, including curfew, in an effort to slow the spread of law enforcement, officials said. Announced Tuesday evening.

From the beginning of Friday, rest restaurants rent, bars, breweries and wineries should be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while all businesses are allowed to operate indoors, their business should be limited to 25 percent capacity. Outdoor dining will be limited to capacity 0% capacity and personal care institutions – such as salons, freshhops and tattoo parlors – should be operated on an appointment basis only. Outdoor gatherings are only allowed to get-gutters, and should be limited to 15 people and three houses.

The county is reporting about 2,900 new cases a day, according to its five-day rolling average. If that number hits 50,000, or if the number of hospital admissions rises from about 1,100 to more than 5,000, the county will hold another lockdown – keeping all except workers at home for three weeks.

“Los Angeles County is at a critical juncture in saving lives and preventing the spread of COVID-19,” Barbara Ferrer, the county’s director of public health, said in a statement. “I urge our residents, businesses and community leaders to heed this warning and adhere to these strict safeguards so that no additional restrictions are imposed.”

The county was announced just days after the government’s Gavin News (D) Announced California will be “pulling the emergency brake” and reversing many of the state’s new measures as new infections spread there at record rates.

“The spread of COVID-19, if left unchecked, can quickly rob our healthcare system and lead to disastrous results,” Newsom said in a statement.
