Facelift – with Johnson haircut: went to the hairdresser for the Queen?

LONDON (AP) – Boris Johnson, an apparently fresh co-exist, took to social media in Great Britain on Monday.

The British prime minister usually wears his hair tousled and without a noticeable cut. On Monday he appeared in a debate on Afghanistan in the House of Commons, having his hair neatly cut and, as some suspected, combed.

One Twitter user speculated that the conservative politician may have dressed for the Queen. No unreasonable thoughts: As a government spokesman confirmed, Johnson met the 95-year-old Queen at Balmoral, her summer residence in Scotland, over the weekend. Elizabeth II traditionally spends the summer months there.

The House of Commons met again on Monday for the first time since the summer break. The vast majority of MPs were as neatly dressed as ever. However, masks were only sporadically worn on tightly packed green benches.
