The popular paisley music and arts festival The Spree returns this week with a wide selection over ten days.

The Twilight Sad, Arab Strap, The Bluebells, The Resilos, Michael Rother, Nick Lowe, Katherine Joseph and Retro Video Club are some of the best upcoming acts for the fast growing festival now in its ninth year and on October 7th – 16 are running. .

Organized by Renfrewshire Council, The Spree has helped establish Paisley as one of Scotland’s top cultural venues for major events.

This year’s festival is organized by regular music and performed in a beautiful setting on Bridge Street in downtown Paisley.

The popular children’s convention program also takes place during the main spree festival. From music, dance, circus and comedy lessons to interactive workshops and Disney movies to dance, there’s something for the whole family during the October holidays. Tickets for these events are on sale now.

The Spree for All 2021 Fringe Festival also returns, showcasing local talent in the towns and villages of Renfrewshire. Music lovers can enjoy concerts at local venues in Renfrew, Houston, Kilberchan, Weir Bridge, Hood and Johnston, as well as a jam-packed program at Paisley’s Bungalow Bar and many other venues across the city .
