Jay-Z publishes full-page ads in newspapers across the country dedicated to George Floyd

Protests over killing of George Floyd spread worldwide

The announcement is titled “in dedication to George Floyd. #JusticeForGeorgeFloyd” and quotes an excerpt from a speech given by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Selma, Al. In 1965.

“So we will get up among the horses. We will get up right here, among the tummies. We will get up on our feet in everything they can gather, letting the world know that we are determined to be free! “
