BERLIN (DPA) – For Jennifer Aniston, her ex-husband Brad Pitt was one of the favorite star guests in the cult series “Friends”. “Mr. C. Pitt was amazing,” said the 52-year-old on the talk show “Access Hollywood”.
On the occasion of the long-awaited “Friends” special, Aniston spoke to his co-stars Lisa Kudrow (57) and Kourtney Cox (56) about the series and the planned reunion the day before yesterday.
Kudrow described Pitt’s appearance as one of his favorites in the episode “The One with the Rumor” (Eng. “The Hate Club”). But Ben Stiller, Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and other Hollywood stars were also nominated as favorite guests by the trio’s actresses.
Pitt played Aniston’s classmate
Pitt’s appearance on “Friends” also earned her an Emmy nomination in 2002. He played a former classmate of Aniston’s character Rachel Green. During filming, Aniston and Pitt were already married. They separated in 2005.
The special “Friends: The Reunion” has been on the streaming service HBO Max since Thursday. In Germany, Sky has secured broadcast rights.
