Rumana Sultana is the brand ambassador of Kanyashree project of the state government of West Bengal, India. This time he got the highest marks in high school. He got 499 marks out of 500.

Rumana and another meritorious student Pritam Chakraborty were welcomed by the Murshidabad district administration at the Collectorate Auditorium in Behrampur on Friday. There Deputy Commissioner Sharad Kumar Dwivedi said that Rumana would be declared as the brand ambassador of Kanyashree.

Rumana along with the rest of the family members had come to Baharampur in the morning for the reception at the district headquarters. Welcoming her, the Deputy Commissioner said, ‘By illuminating the name of Murshidabad, the warrior girl has become the first Kanyashree in the high school. She will be the brand ambassador of Kanyashree. The fact that this is Kanyashree first will inspire other students in the district as well. It is a matter of our pride.

Murshidabad Superintendent of Police K Sabri Rajkumar also praised the talent of Rumana and Pritam. He said, “The name of Murshidabad district has been bright in the past and it will remain bright in future also. We are proud of these two masterpieces. He was welcomed.

Rumana is happy that the Deputy Commissioner has announced her name as the brand ambassador of Kanyashree. “Other students in the district are also excited by my success, which is what I want,” he said.

He has expressed his desire to become a scientist in the coming days.

On the other hand, Pritam has performed well from this district. “I want to study engineering in the future,” he said.
