UAE Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during the past few hours, has praised an Egyptian youth for surpassing the value of his company which he founded in Dubai for $1.5 billion . .
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid praised 28-year-old Mustafa Qandeel for his success in building a company for smart solutions for mass transit, which was listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange.
The company founded by Qandeel has been able to acquire customers whose numbers have reached 1.4 million passengers in just 4 years, with an average of 46 million trips to date across multiple countries.

Qandeel received a bachelor’s degree in energy and petroleum engineering from American University in Cairo in 2014, and served as an assistant professor at the university in the same year.
