The role seems tailor-made for him: “Mr. Bean” star Rowan Atkinson (65) may soon appear in a new Netflix production. The British actor will go on a wild insect hunt in the comedy series “Man Versus Bee”. The comedian who made the series Lut “Hollywood Reporter” Ten Planned, together with Will Davis (44), will take care of an elegant estate in a ten-minute episode and carry on the fight against an annoying bee. The streaming service has also announced six more UK Netflix Originals. From horror, thriller, fantasy to comedy, all genres are represented.

Sam Mendes, 55, will be executive producer on a six-part series titled “American Beauty” “The Red Zone”, which is presented as “a comedy not about football but about football”. In “Baby Reindeer” by writer and lead actor Richard Gird (31, “Against the Law”), a one-stage drama about the author and his stalker of the same name is transformed into a series. In addition, the horror series “Cuckoo Song”, the mystery series “Lockwood and Co” and “The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle” and the detective fantasy format “Half Bad” were announced.
