The former American footballer and BBC pundit is one of the 12 celebrities to take part in this year’s series and he shares his six-year-old daughter Anaiya with the Girls Aloud star, with whom he was for 11 years and soon became engaged.
Asked if Nadi had any advice before his debut on the show, Jason revealed: ‘Yes, we’ve talked about it. We’ve talked about that – it’s really a matter of time.
I said, “Do I have enough time to take down these routines during the week?”.
‘She’s done it all her life, it’s like,’ You really have to get in and focus and I’ll help you and give you some tips and tricks. ‘ So I got a couple. ‘
The 2-year-old added that both Nadine, 35, and her daughter are very supportive.
‘Yes, they are very supportive and they are as excited as I am. I mean they talk about this every day, ‘Jason continued.
‘Sometimes I’m just right now, hey, let’s calm my nerves for a while now.
‘My daughter, she asked me about it last night, talking about how she would behave and how nervous she would become. So, getting their support is the key. ‘
He added: ‘And, really, just wanted to go there and represent them well, you know? They mean so much to me. ‘
Jason played the role of cornberc / safety for the Dallas Cowboys before moving to Hasson Stun Texans, before receiving the Ed Block Carrage Award, the league’s highest honor, ending his career at the New York Giants.
After the singer went there for work, she moved to the U.S. Nadine and Jason began dating in 2008 when they met.
They were engaged in 2010 but separated a year later – albeit shortly before reconciliation – Nadine later revealed that she had cold feet after deciding she was too young to get married.
Nadine welcomed her daughter Anaiya in February, 2014. Last year, there were reports of the couple splitting up.
