Legendary actress Leslie Joseph is the first celebrity to expect what it takes to beat the chasers.
Leslie, best known for her role as Dorian Greene on the sitcom Birds of a Feather, previously appeared in a celebrity special for The Chase in 2014—so this isn’t her first rodeo.
Judge Jules – Episode 1
Judge Jules is a DJ, entertainment lawyer and record producer who rose to prominence in 1997 after securing a regular slot on Radio 1.
After leaving the station in 2012, Judge Jules launched her own show, The Global Warm Up, which is rented to various radio stations around the world.
Jenny Faulkner – Episode 1
Radio and TV presenter Jenny Faulkner will also join the celebrity squad on Christmas Eve.
Jenny, best known as the host of the Saturday Breakfast Show on Smooth London, has also made regular appearances as a travel reporter on This Morning and even hosted the National Lottery draw on BBC One. has also done.
Patrick Keelty – Episode 1
To complete the team for episode one, Patrick Keelty, an Irish comedian who has already hosted his own quiz – Debatable, aired on Channel 4 from 2016 to 2017.
Patrick hopes to earn money for charity before going on a three-month tour in March 2022.
Kate Silverton – Episode 2
Journalist and news anchor Kate Silverton is the first definitive celebrity to appear on a Boxing Day episode of The Chase.
Kate, who worked briefly at a bank before her first broadcast gig, became a regular anchor for BBC News at One and BBC Weekend News for more than two decades before leaving in June 2021.
Ruthie Henshal – Episode 2
West End star Ruthie Henschel is trading tap dancing for trivia this Christmas as she joins the celebrity chase team.
Ruthie was just 19 when she was cast in Cats on the West End, and has since starred in Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, and Chicago.
Ian Sterling – Episode 2
Scottish comedian and author Ian Stirling began his career as a children’s television presenter on CBBC’s The Dog at My Homework.
In 2015, Ian became the narrator for Love Island, and in 2021, Starr launched his own sitcom, Buffering, on ITV.
The Rev Richard Coles – Episode 2
The latest figure to appear on the show is the Reverend Richard Coles, who also serves as a musician, journalist and redo presenter.
Richard, who is currently the Vicar of Findon, a parish in Northamptonshire, became the host of Radio 4 Saturday Live in 2014 and has been running the program ever since.
When is The Chase Christmas Special on TV and How Can I Watch It?
The first episode of The Chase Christmas Special will air on ITV on Christmas Eve (December 24) at 5:30 pm.
The second episode will be available two days later on Boxing Day (26 December) at 5 PM.
Both the episodes will be of one hour duration and will also be available to stream on ITV Hub.
