The new Bond was shot at these locations in Europe - BZ Berlin

James Bond is a real frequent traveler! Films made on Secret Agent 007 have been shot all over the world. Daniel Craig traveled as a secret agent to 15 countries on five continents in 15 years alone.

His latest and last film “No Time to Die” (currently in cinemas) is the world’s most successful cinema release since the pandemic!

Good for us: He plays mostly in places in Europe – so most of them can be seen without any problems. After the cinema is before the trip.

Italian: Matera, Sapri, Gravina

Even in the official trailer, 007 engages in a mad chase and jumps off an old bridge with only a rope in hand. The 37-meter-high Roman aqueduct of the Gravina in Puglia served as the backdrop for the jump.

European Capital of Culture 2019 Matera is just 30 kilometers away. With its many cliffs and narrow streets, it is the perfect backdrop for the secret agent and his Aston Martin.

The film was also shot in Sapri, Southern Italy. At the train station, viewers get an insight into the complicated love between James Bond and Madeleine Swann, played by Lee Seydoux.

Scotland: Cairngorms National Park

Even for “Skyfall” James Bond ended up in Scotland – there he was confronted by his past. The latest film takes you back to the Highlands, once again in Cairngorms National Park in which five of Great Britain’s six tallest mountains serve as the backdrop. Impressive!

Faroe Islands

Dramatic landscapes meet wild ocean: the islands belonging to Denmark’s crown are the perfect match for the Bond universe. And yet the volcanic islands will be featured for the first time in the movie 007!

The film was shot at Kallur: in Trollens village and at the lighthouse.

England: London

In most Bond films, London is one of the filming locations. This is where the MI6 Secret Service is located. Also in “No Time to Die” 007 ended up in the capital of England, though in the Government District and the University of London.

Norway: Storssund Bridge, Nittella

Norway was the ideal location for snowy scenes in the new James Bond. Scenes with the villain Safin were filmed around the frozen lake Langavan, north of Oslo. Another Norwegian location became the backdrop for wild car chases: the grand Atlantic Road with its largest bridge, the Storsiende.
