The US warns of Russian consequences if it dies in a naval prison

Washington – Government United States of america (America) warned Russia Regarding the consequences, Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny dies in prison. In opposition, the jailed Moscow opposition figures on hunger strike.

Navalny’s team called for mass protests across Russia to help save his life.

Earlier, Doctor Navalny said that the most prominent critic of President Vladimir Putin could die “at any time”.

US President’s National Security Advisor Joe Biden said that Washington had warned the Kremlin that if Navalny died it would be taken into account by the international community.

France, Germany and the European Union on Sunday joined a growing international chorus of protests over Navalni’s plight. Foreign ministers of European Union countries will discuss the situation on Monday (19/4/2021).

Tensions have escalated between Moscow and Western countries over naval health, escalating on a range of issues, including the deployment of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border, mediation in US elections and other hostile activities.

On Sunday evening, a few hours after Navalny’s team gave Putin his state address, he called for mass protests across Russia.

“It’s time to act. We’re talking not only about Navalny’s independence, but also about his life,” Navalny’s right-hand man, Leonid Volkov, said on Facebook.

Volkov said Wednesday’s massive demonstration, called “absolute evil”, could be a decisive battle against it.

“We find ourselves in an extreme, much-needed situation,” he said. “Extreme times require extreme measures,” he was quoted as saying Moscow Times.

There has been no immediate response from the Kremlin, but Russian Ambassador to London Andrei Kelin said Navalny would not be allowed to die in prison.

“But I can say that Navalny, he behaved like a criminal,” said Kellyn BBC.
