Can I still pay back?

In the past, we have sometimes seen issues being processed on returns and refunds when it comes to the administration of stores.

Arcadia Group says it plans to keep the trade as normal and says this allows customers to return normal returns for now.

If you have something you want to return to, it’s best to do it as soon as possible – in any case this is a good general rule, but especially applies here given the current uncertainty.

What does the Arcadia Group say?

Ian Grabiner, Chief Executive of Arcadia, said: “This is a very sad day for all our colleagues as well as our suppliers and our many other stakeholders.

“The impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, including the prolonged closure of our stores, has had a huge impact on the trade of all our brands.

“During these very challenging times, our priority is to protect jobs and hope for the economic stability of the group so that we can ride the epidemic and fight on the other side.

“Ultimately, in the face of the most difficult trading conditions we have ever experienced, the obstacles we faced were very serious.”

Matt Smith, Deloitte’s joint director, said: “We will now work with the existing management team and a wide range of stakeholders to assess all the options available for the future of the group’s businesses.

“Our goal is to continue trading all of those brands, and we welcome customers back into stores when many of them are allowed to reopen.”
