Marsh said: “This year has been really challenging and frustrating for all of us.

“Being able to keep our viewers company, and hopefully bring some positivity, as well as some useful tips and information, is a real privilege for Gathin and me.

“I can’t wait to get back on screen with our Morning Live family and navigate whatever 2021 throws at us. I can’t think of a better team to be by.”

The program will air at 9:15 a.m. in the New Year.

Jones said: “We’re glad to be back with Morning Live.

“When we started, I described the show as a big group message, and that group has grown.

“We will work hard to keep our audience at the center of the conversation.”

According to the BBC, the first series has seen an average of 1.4 million viewers every day.

“We are delighted to be bringing Morning Live back to 2021,” said Karela-Maria Losen, head of BBC Daytime and Early Peak.

“It is clearly answering for a space of viewers where they know their real life concerns are reflected and addressed by trusted experts, as well as providing good company and much needed positivity.
