16 tournaments to make their way into The Open in 2022

Grouped under the banner “The Open Qualifying Series”, these 16 competitions will take place in 11 countries from different circuits and will offer 46 places at the start of the most prestigious Grand Slam tournament in St Andrews in mid-July.

The tournament is co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, held on the same dates as the Genesis Scottish Open at Renaissance Golf Club. 3 places will be allocated in Scotland during the Irish Open in the first week of July and the Dutch Open in late May on the DP World Tour.

In addition to the Singapore Open, players on the Japan Golf Tour will have the opportunity to capture the spot during the 62nd Korea Open during the Mizuno Open without forgetting the release.

Qualifying events are also planned in Great Britain and Ireland on 20 June. 12 players will try to make the final on 28 June at the Fairmont St Andrews, Hallinwell Golf Club in Nottinghamshire, Prince Golf Club in Kent and St Anne’s Old Links.
