Seasonique has introduced two powerful models of Prime PX and TX series. that Prime PX 1600 And Prime TX 1600 Both have a maximum output power of 1,600 watts. Prime PX is certified as 80 Plus Platinum, Prime TX is certified as 80 Plus Titanium.
Apart from the certification, both the models are largely identical. Both have dimensions of 210 x 150 x 86 mm. The diameter of the fan is 135 mm. Semi-idle operation and fan control are also possible or available for both models. Seasonique specifies the lifetime of the fan as 50,000 hours. The MTBF for the power supply is 150,000 hours.
The DC output segment delivers 25A (125W) on both the 3.3V and 5V rails on both models. For 12V it is 133.3A and therefore 1,600W.
The fully modular designed power supply comes with multiple cable extensions. In addition to 1x 24-pin and 3x EPS, two PCIe extensions are included, each with a 6-pin and 8-pin connector. There are also eight PCIe power cables with 6/8 pins in one connector. Now in decline, but still around, there are power cables with SATA and Molex connectors.
