Classics never go out of style. While many PC gamers await the release of age of empires 4, Microsoft kept the development of the mobile version a secret.
Tencent confirmed the news the seminar Online. The company TiMi Studios will be in charge of development of this new application called Return to Empires for Android and iOS.
New Age of Empires for mobile?
Is this really Pocket Age of Empires? Many have wondered whether it was a popular franchise, with some even questioning the presentation as if it were a copy optimized for touch controls only.
The truth is that “Age of Empires” is never mentioned, but the Xbox Game Studio logo appears at the end of the trailer, and a version of the classic song from the PC game saga has also been used.
For now, video game analyst Daniel Ahmed has warned that it has only hinted that it will be launched in China. The official release date is not yet known or if there will be an international version.
