Apple is being sued for alleged infringement of patents covering Face ID and various camera technologies. The lawsuit was filed in the US district court for the Western District of Texas, stating that Apple is knowingly violating five patents related to its smartphone cameras.

These patents relate to technologies that can “help users interact with smartphones,” including unlocking devices, capturing images or videos, and other tasks.
