Arsenal unveil new jersey

Arsenal have unveiled their new home shirt for the 2021-2022 season. It stays true to its traditional style with a little innovation.

Arsenal, another English cadre, revealed their new home shirts for next season on Friday morning, following Manchester City and Manchester United over the past two days. Classic for a London club with a red background and white sleeves. The only novelty is on the shoulders, with three distinctive stripes from equipment maker Adidas, in dark blue. The jersey will be accompanied by shorts and white socks.

“I love it,” said Scottish left-back Kieran Tierney for the Gunners, who was among the players to launch the new shirt. “The design is smart, I can’t wait to wear it and represent the club. The fans … haven’t been this way without them. We can’t wait and watch Emirates vibrate again.”

Jersey presented against Rangers

The new tunic for teammates Kieran Tierney will be worn for the first time in a commemorative friendly, marking the 150th anniversary of defending Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday.
