Rashika is likely to be a topic of discussion today on the final day of the transfer, the player has also been tracked by Bundesliga trio Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig.

Despite a farewell visit on Saturday, moving to the villa does not appear in the initial proposal.

“No, not really,” Smith said in response to a question about the second player leaving the door open.

“It simply came to our notice then.

“I have also found Bertrand Treyer and Anwar al-Ghazi on the bench.

“I’m not sure there will be any more before the window closes.”

Pressing on the players going out, Smith added: “I said before we could store the players.”
