BERLIN (AP) – The Dutch royal couple will be visiting Berlin for three days next week. During their state visit from 5 to 7 July, Willem-Alexander and Maxima will also have several appointments with the governing mayor Michael Müller (SPD), as announced by the Berlin Senate chancellor on Monday.

This includes a visit to the Brandenburg Gate on 5 July. The royal couple then signed the city’s Golden Book at the Berlin City Hall. On 7 July, Müller visits the Technical University with Dutch guests, where they wish to learn more about key technologies, as well as the Herzberg Landscape Park in Lichtenberg and the Humboldt Forum in Mitte.

As always with state visits, the royal couple’s schedule in Berlin also has political talks at the highest level. Willem-Alexander and Maxima last lived in the area two years ago. At that time he visited several places in Brandenburg, including the Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam.
