Qualcomm is going to launch its latest and most powerful process, Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset in late 2020. The chipset is reported to be launched on December 1st. So, in the first quarter of 2021, we will definitely see some great smartphone launches by various companies, which will be powered by SD 875 chipset. A recent report has revealed that there are five Snapdragon 875 powered flagship smartphones expected to launch in Q1 of 2021. But the main highlight is something else. While those five flagships are suggested to feature 100W fast charging, the credit goes to the latest Quick Charge 5, which is really quite huge.
Speaking of the smartphone makers of those five smartphones, Tipsier has mentioned others including Xiaomi, Black Shark, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus M models Dello. Tipster has also named those upcoming smartphones. The Galaxy S21 could be one of them. Apart from this, OnePlus 9 Pro, Xiaomi Mi11, Q1 with 100W fast charging may launch in 2021.
So far, nothing has been confirmed about that 100W charging issue. As with some recent leaks, we learned that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 45W will stick with fast charging.
