Four new cases and multiple risks of exposure to the virus in Nova Scotia. COVID-19 in the Atlantic

The area now has 20 active cases, the highest total since May 23.

Two of these cases are related to trips outside the Atlantic bubble. The other two are close contacts to recently recorded cases.

Halifax has at least eight locations of potential virus risk

Nova Scotia health officials have also warned the public of the many risks of exposure to COVID-19 in the Halifax Regional Municipality.

• Canada Games Center, November 2, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• BMO Center, November 1, 6 to 9 pm.
• Dollarama Store in the Mall Scotia SquareFrom, 27 to 30 October, between 12 noon and 3 pm.
• WestJet flight WJ254 from Toronto to Halifax on 30 October.

The plane of the incident left Toronto at 9.45 pm and landed in Halifax at 1.00 pm on 31 October. Passengers in rows 39 to 45 of seats A, B and C are more likely to have close contact, and are asked to call tele-care immediately at 811.

Public health officials ask all those who have been attentive to these places for the presence of COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days. If they develop symptoms, these people must immediately isolate themselves and contact tele-care without delay.
