Internet Desk: WhatsApp is constantly introducing new features to impress its users. Among the features that have come so far, if WhatsApp Status is one height…everything else is another height. This is because the WhatsApp status feature has attracted so many users. Photos, Videos, Links, Happysad things.. Anyway, we will share contacts with everyone on WhatsApp via Status. Many people offer different types of positions. We like some of them too… like wanting to update our status. Sometimes we ask them to share and we put them in our position. Time and again you ask them what they are..we leave them without asking. So without asking everyone.. they can download their status with a simple little trick. Let’s see how!
With Google Files..
If you’re an Android user, you’ll need to download the Google Files app through the Play Store. This app is default on most of the smart phones. Those who do not have this app can download it from play store. iOS users can download WhatsApp status only through File Manager application.
1. After downloading the Google Files app, go to the menu and open Settings.
2. There appears the setting ‘Show hidden files’. It should be enabled.
3. Now come back from the app and re-open the app and go to the internal storage settings. Click on the WhatsApp folder option, then Media, then go to the Status folder. (Internal Storage > WhatsApp > Media > Status)
4. All the statuses you see in your Contacts list will be displayed in that folder. If you choose, you can upload and enjoy your status.
WhatsApp status folder is in hidden mode by default. This means that the folder will not be visible in other file manager apps. If you enable the option, the folder will be visible. All the photos and videos you see in Status are saved in this folder. You can share that file with your friends. or situation. Can be converted to different folders if desired.
Even easier..
If the Google Files option mentioned above sounds a bit daunting… there are some third party apps that you can download directly. Status Saver is one of them. It will also be available for us on PlayStore. It shows all the WhatsApp statuses you have visited. The next step is to download, save and use what we want.
