Klagenfurt – Wednesday, September 1, 2021, 1:33 pm.

Out of Necessity KAC announced their first new signing this summer.

Paul brings in defending champion Philipp Brugisser, following the retirement of David Fischer due to a postma injury and a lower body injury. The 30-year-old Danish defender has been signed for the coming season and comes from DELL from Grizzalis Wolfsburg.

General Manager Oliver Piloni explains: “Apart from our many local defenders in defence, we currently have only one general, Paul Postma, who was recently slightly battered. Opportunity at short notice to sign Philippe Brugisser. After that, we decided to be proactive here and add a personal option to our defense.”

The Danish international, who has already fought four A World Cups for his country, has spent the last three seasons in Germany. There he went with the Krefeld Pinguin for only two years, last year he moved to Wolfsburg. He collected 77 scorer points in 138 games.

Bruggisser receives jersey number 2 at KAC.
